UGL has a great record in completing renewable sector associated projects including Solar Farms, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Transmission Lines, Substations and electrical distribution. Our proven delivery means we have an exceptional pipeline.About The RoleReporting to the Principal Engineer, the Civil Designer will be responsible for but not limited to;

Prepare 3D modelling for earthworks, Roadworks and drainage in 12-D and/or AutoCAD Civil 3-D.
To apply and establish engineering principles and standards in the design and preparation of drawings for power plants and substations, solar farms, battery storage sites.
To ensure drawings are comprehensively set out and fully dimensioned with reasonable tolerances to facilitate effective construction using normally available equipment and processes
To prepare drawings to budgeted hours and timeframes as directed

About You

Relevant Tertiary Qualification, Diploma status in Engineering and at least five years of industry experience in earthworks, roadworks and drainage design.
Strong oral & written English language communications skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 12d (or Civil 3D), 12d and Drains transfer data, 12d Road design horizontal and verical alignments.
