- Review project specifications for engineering and fabrication process
- Review and advise teams of potential materials and requirements
- Submit design recommendations to ensure attainment and estimating purposes
- Establishing, implementing, and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies, and plans
- Analysis technical drawings, project specifications, and plans to identify the project requirement
- Provide support and mentorship to the Engineering Team and oversee a training program to upskill employees with the teams
- Reporting and record keeping on all projects timely and accurately
- Carry out workshop inspections to detect and solve problems and identify the faulty mechanical parts of replacement.
- Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions
- Use of software tools to generate design calculations and prepare drawings for tanks and pressure vesselsSkills, Abilities and Experience:- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strict adherence to all OHS and quality system and procedures
- Good leading, management, communication, and organisational skills
- Able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate mannerQualifications:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant field
