- Monitor Government BU budgeted targets and financial performance.
- Be a key contributor to annual Business unit budget and forecasts schedule.
- Prepare monthly Board reporting. Implement improvements to financial reporting.
- Prepare/revise financial modelling and evaluation (NPV and IRR) for existing and new investment opportunities (products and internal projects)
- Assist product management with business case preparation and modelling of commercial constructs for new and existing products.
- Provide advice to sales team and deal desk to ensure deals make long term commercial sense at certain GP%
- Undergraduate degree in business, commerce or related field
- 5-8 years' experience in Financial and/or Commercial roles, preferably within an ICT service provider (or equivalent commercial business)
- Demonstrated ability to map multiple disparate data sources into a cohesive and comprehensive analytical models.
- Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to enable the required outcomes to be achieved often with conflicting priorities
- Ability to identify financial trends and anomalies.
- Inquisitive nature with a drive to find solutions to commercial problems.
- Ability to review complex, technical processes and identify and implement improved efficiencies.
- CA/CPA or MBA is desirable.
