Sharp & Carter has been engaged by a well-known organisation that is a market leader in their field and that operates business with a fast-paced Finance function that partners with their entrepreneurial leadership to drive its continuous growth.The Role
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for management accounting, including budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, KPIs, as well as financial reporting and overseeing multiple entities. You will also manage financial accounting areas including taxation and statutory requirements. The duties of your role will include but not be limited to the following.
- Partnering with senior leadership on a day-to-day basis
- Support the budgeting process
- Cashflow forecasting
- Managing the general ledger of the business
- Co-ordinate the month end process
- Journals, reconciliations and analysis a required
- Assist in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company financials
- Depreciation and Fixed Assets Reconciliation
- Preparation and assistance with taxation lodgments and reconciliations
- Assistance with statutory audits
- Partnering with the business around Finance related queries
- Ad-hoc duties or finance team projects as required
Collegial in your style, you will play an integral role in driving the high-performance culture of the finance function. You will be technically strong finance professional with exceptional communication skills that will compliment your talent for interpreting and articulating complex financial information. Strong systems skills and your advanced Excel proficiency will be important to your success in this role.Other requirements include:
- Business/Commerce Degree (Accounting major preferred)
- Professional qualifications (CA/CPA)
- An upbringing in a Chartered (Audit) environment
