About Uniting Goonellabah:Conveniently located in the beautiful Goonellabah township, surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty. With four separate households, each with up to 20 residents. Your Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.Position Overview:As a Care Worker in Hotel Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting independence, dignity, and comfort by providing essential services such as catering, cleaning, and laundry, helping to create a positive and enriching daily experience for our residents.Qualifications & Experience:
  • Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification. (Preferred, not mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience in hospitality or food services – whether in catering, cooking, kitchenhand roles, or cleaning will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing quality, nutritious meals.
  • Previous experience in community care or aged care is a bonus.
  • You’re empathetic, adaptable, and resourceful, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
