We are keen to attract and develop passionate, motivated and safety-minded people from all backgrounds who want to help support society's growing need for secure, affordable and clean energy.We are seeking an Operations Technician INLEC to join our team in Darwin at our Ichthys LNG facility on a 24-month maximum term contract. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.Key responsibilities include:
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead and responsible for executing Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance at the Onshore LNG processing facility
  • Perform planned, unplanned and corrective maintenance activities
  • Accurately report maintenance information in SAP as per the WMS procedures.
  • Shutdown and campaign maintenance preparation and execution.
Successful candidates will have:
  • Instrument Trade Certificate
  • Electrical Trade Certificate with particular focus on High Voltage (HV) and being a Senior Authorised Electrical Person (SAEP)
  • Electrical A Class license (any Australian State, or International with local endorsement)
  • Extensive experience as an Instrument and Electrical Maintainer in an Operational environment.
  • Integrated Controls Safety Systems (ICSS) experience
  • Desirable to have Onshore LNG maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrate high competency in the principles, practices and execution of Instrumentation and Electrical Equipment maintenance.
  • Demonstrate high competency in fault finding and troubleshooting on Instrumentation and Electrical Equipment.
  • Skilled practitioner in the maintenance of the following equipment:
  • ICSS / DCS Systems
  • Turbine Control Systems
  • PLC's
  • HV Electrical Generation and Switching
  • Vibration Monitoring Systems
  • General Instrumentation
  • UPS - Uninterruptable Power Supplies
  • Electrical Switchboards and Distribution
  • Hydraulic control systems
  • Functional Safety
