Manager - Business DevelopmentWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager - Business Development to join our Business Development team in our Melbourne office.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Development Planning
  • Develop and implement business development strategies in alignment with company goals, to drive revenue and identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and assess market trends.
  • Create and execute plans to penetrate new markets or expand existing ones.
  • Implement and coordinate the marketing initiatives supporting the business development strategy.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
  • Identify opportunities for the legal teams to establish connections with potential clients to generate business leads.
  • Develop and implement strategies to assist the partners to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, referrers, and key stakeholders.
  • Through client listening ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with organisational goals.
Collaboration and Team Leadership
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, to develop integrated approaches to business growth.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members and colleagues on business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of client solutions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track and analyse the performance of business development initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.

Experience
  • Minimum 7 years post qualification business development & marketing or related experience, with at least 2 years of BD manager level experience.
