Leading and managing a team of qualified food services assistants
Ensuring compliance with the food safety plan at all times
Maintaining accurate kitchen documentation
Ensuring the kitchen area and equipment is cleaned and maintained to an appropriate standard
Developing and maintaining key relationships with residents, staff and facility management
Assuming the role of Food Safety Supervisor at the site.About you:
Trade qualification (Essential)
Minimum 3 years experience in commercial kitchen environment within the residential aged care industry (min 90 bed facility)
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of diverse and modified dietary requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for food and the preparation of appetising and nutritious meals for our residents.What we will do for you:
