We are looking for Truck Drivers - Western AustraliaPosition Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join their team in Western Australia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods across various locations. This position requires a professional with extensive experience in truck driving, excellent navigation skills, and a strong commitment to safety.Key Responsibilities:
Operate trucks and other large vehicles to transport goods to and from specified locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure and safe transportation.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to road laws.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, work/rest periods, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers, providing updates on delivery status.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the vehicle when necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Truck Driver, preferably within Western Australia or similar environments.
  • Valid and current Heavy Vehicle Driver's License (HR, HC, or MC class) required.
  • Proven experience with long-haul and local deliveries.
  • Strong knowledge of Western Australia’s road networks and traffic laws.
  • Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations.
  • Ability to operate GPS and other navigation systems efficiently.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
