
Assistant Facilities Manager

- Support day-to-day facilities management operations including coordinating maintenance activities, addressing occupant requests, and monitoring service delivery
- Assist with vendor management, including scheduling services, reviewing work quality, and processing invoices
- Conduct regular building inspections to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations
- Maintain accurate facilities documentation including floor plans, equipment inventories, and maintenance records
- Support budget management by tracking expenses, gathering quotes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Assist with implementing health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Participate in facilities-related projects such as space modifications, equipment upgrades, or sustainability initiatives
- 1-3 years of experience in facilities management or related field
- Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Customer service mindset with attention to detail
- Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems and work order management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to building operations
- Experience coordinating with vendors and service providers
- Background in customer service or client relationship management
