This role will see you reviewing, interpreting and accurately modelling feasibilities in Anaplan, assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process, application of technical financial accounting knowledge and producing monthly management reporting and commentary as required.In this role you will be responsible for the following:
  • Business Partnering & Financial Modelling: Collaborate with development teams for early engagement in forecasting and Anaplan modelling, ensuring project-level information meets requirements and liaising with Group Finance for inputs.
  • Team Collaboration & Development: Support the C&MU Team with tailored BI reports and work closely with finance managers across asset classes to foster team development and collaboration with Group Finance and Investments Finance teams.
  • Strategic Analysis & Execution: Provide analysis and insights to assist the Finance Manager in executing strategy and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for commercial and mixed-use projects, prepare and validate financial performance reports, and contribute to scenario analysis and process improvements.
  • Cashflow & Capital Management: Ensure robust cashflow management and forecasting in collaboration with development teams, focusing on the cash and capital impacts of major decisions and investments.
Your point of differenceThe ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, ideally within Property Development. You are CA/CPA qualified and possess strong technical accounting and structing skills along with advance Excel capabilities. High-level communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as well-developed analytical and problem solving abilities. You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a clear capability to lead, motivate, manage and mentor finance team members effectively.Life at Mirvac
