Job Description:We currently have an opportunity for a Project Delivery Officer to join our team. This position provides support to Project Delivery Managers, who provide project management services to the Australian Defence sector.The role may require frequent interactions with internal and external stakeholders including: internal Downer teams, the Client, the Customer, Estate Management & Planning, Base Management and Service Delivery Partners.Responsibilities:The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

Attendance at project meetings (in-person or via video conference).
Scheduling project meetings, writing and distributing meeting minutes.
Providing administrative support to Project Delivery Managers.
Assisting in the preparation of project related documents (Downer and Defence documents).
Track project tasks to ensure timely completion and reporting.
Assist in the preparation and review of Request for Quotations and Request for Tenders.
Assist in the preparation of Project Variation Requests.
Assist in sub-contract management.
Assist in Request for Information (RFI) management.
Request and review project related documentation provided by Service Delivery Partners.
On-site project attendance as required, including escorting visitors.

Assistance in managing project Handover / Takeover deliverables.Qualifications:What you'll bring

Previous project administration experience in a fast-paced environment.
Experience preparing project documents, with high-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Teams.
Experience recording and writing project meeting minutes.
Ability to be able to read and interpret financial forecasting data.
Strong customer focus and proven client liaison skills.
Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar would be highly desirable.
Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australia citizenship mandatory).
White Construction Card (or the ability to obtain) & an unrestricted Drivers Licence.
Ability to work in a team environment, whilst being able to manage workload and work independently as required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines.
