If you have thought about stepping up, this could be the opportunity, with the role providing membership to Orange Hospital's dynamic cohort of NUMs - a strong, well networked group providing peer to peer support and mentorship to develop your leadership skills.Orange Hospital is the major referral centre for Western NSW, where you'll lead a high-performing operating theatre team committed to delivering patient-centred care and driving innovation in rural health. The team works a 7-day roster, including on-call shifts out of hours.With five operating theatres, a procedural room, and a 10-bay recovery unit, our department supports a wide range of surgical specialties including trauma, orthopaedics, upper GI, urology, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, and ophthalmology.Your role will involve day to day running of the department such as rostering, resource allocations, problem solving and mentoring staff.
