Cleanaway provides sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, large corporate entities and government agencies to name but a few.We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Manager, SME to join our Western Australian Sales Team based in Malaga.Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be assigned a geographical area and will be responsible for hunting and securing new business opportunities across small to medium enterprises. To be a successful candidate, you will bring a genuine passion for sales, customer engagement and the thrill of the chase. This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to gain experience about the waste management industry and develop your experience further.Your new role:
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ensure long term growth and profitability of the division by identifying and developing relationships with key clients and generating new business.
  • Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service, build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Meet sales targets in accordance with business metrics and targets.
  • Collaborate with other business units at Cleanaway.
About you:
  • A passion for business development and sales experience generating new business.
  • Proven experience in a structured sales or business development environment
  • Previous experience in using a Customer Relationship Management tool such as Salesforce highly preferred.
  • Excellent time management via your calendar to ensure you have adequate time infield and manage administration tasks.
  • This is an autonomous role , so you must be a self-starter!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A tenacious, resilient attitude and results focused approach.
  • Work well under pressure, hunts opportunities and drives new business.
