Staff Specialist / Senior Staff specialist, full-time fixed for up to 5 years.Pay:

Staff Specialist Clinician SMO1.1 - SMO1.6 - Remuneration Package $249,872 - $305,368 (including salary $213,380 - $261,100)
Senior Staff Specialist Clinician SMO2.1 - SMO2.3 - Remuneration Package $315,756 - $349,100 (including salary $270,033 - $298,705)

It provides essential medical services across a vast and sparsely populated region. The hospital operates a 24-hour emergency department and offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient care, including mental health, general medicine, and surgical services.
Through its partnership with the Medical Retrieval and Consultation Centre (MRaCC) and the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the hospital plays a critical role in coordinating and delivering emergency care to isolated areas, ensuring that even the most remote patients receive timely, expert treatment.

AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
FRACP
Masters of Public Health or other higher degree; Subspecialty or topic-specific research or clinical interest, to complement the work of the Department of Paediatrics (Desirable)
SIMG's with RACP Substantially Comparable outcome encouraged to apply
