- Commission: The commission structure will be discussed during the interview process, with a focus on rewarding new logo acquisition and overall revenue contribution. My client is flexible and creative in designing a compensation package that motivates high performance while aligning with their long-term growth objectives.
- Strategic Account Management: Identify, prioritize, and pursue 10 key accounts within Tier 2/3 financial institutions, maintaining monthly engagement with decision-makers.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle Ownership: Drive the entire sales process for complex, long B2B sales cycles, from initial contact to successful closure.
- Executive-Level Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives, including CEOs, CFOs, Chief Strategy Officers, and Board Members, understanding their pain points and demonstrating the transformative value of my client's platform.
- Consultative Selling: Apply a deep understanding of banking operations and financial technology to conduct consultative sales, translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value.
- Sales Enablement & Content Creation: Contribute to the development of sales collateral, presentations, articles, blogs, and board documents to enhance market presence and support the sales process.
- Market Intelligence: Provide insights from client interactions to inform product development, marketing strategies, and the overall go-to-market approach.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the COO, founders, and future marketing and client success teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
- Mentorship & Playbook Development: Contribute to defining and refining my client's sales playbook, sharing best practices, and potentially guiding future sales hires.
- Travel: Travel within Australia (primarily Sydney and Melbourne) 3-4 times a month for client meetings and events.
- Complex B2B Sales: Proven track record of navigating and closing complex, long B2B sales cycles, ideally within a consulting or enterprise software environment.
- Banking Domain Expertise: Strong understanding and credibility within the banking sector, particularly with Tier 2 financial institutions (e.g., mutual banks, credit unions).
- Network: An established network within the Australian banking industry, particularly with decision-makers like Heads of Business, CFOs, and potentially CIOs/CTOs.
- Early Career Acceleration: Demonstrated rapid career progression (e.g., multiple promotions in under 3 years) in early sales or consulting roles.
- Consistent over-quota performance in previous sales roles.
- Successful closure of complex, high-value deals with enterprise clients.
- Demonstrated ability to shorten sales cycles or accelerate revenue growth.
