Job Category: Business Applications & ITJob Description:The IT Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This role will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The IT Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, and the achievement of results and outcomes. The role may require occasional travel to different company sites and flexibility in working hours to accommodate various time zones and project deadlines.ResponsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with the business stakeholdersThis role does not have supervisory responsibility; this role will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed.Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.Partner with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions to Civeo's internal and external stakeholders across various regions and functions.Defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables of change management projects.Developing and implementing change management strategies and plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption.Designing and delivering change management interventions, such as workshops, surveys, and coaching sessions.Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of change management activities and outcomes.Preparing and presenting reports and deliverables to the senior management and other key stakeholders.Preparation of weekly program status reports to IT PMO and stakeholders.Preparation of Steering Committee presentations to program stakeholders.Champion of process improvement initiatives as part of larger Program Management.Any other required duties appropriate to the scope, nature, and seniority of the role.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceProfessional QualificationsBachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related fieldProfessional certification in change management preferred (e.g., Prosci ADKAR)Relevant experience in change management, preferably in the workforce accommodation or related industry.Knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and best practicesProficiency in PPM Tools, such as SmartsheetExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Flexibility and adaptability to changing organizational needs and project requirements.Excellent facilitation and coaching skillsStrong attention to detail and organization skillsA high standard of personal presentationAbout UsCiveo Australia, a division of Civeo Corporation, provides workforce accommodation services globally.
