About the companyBased in North Ryde, this specialised health care business does good things in the world. They are also a market leader, with a great reputation in their space.Their culture is both friendly and professional, and have a 60 person IT team to help underpin their business.They offer a hybrid work environment (3:2) and are close to public transport (Metro & buses). There's also parking on site.About the roleThe business is very much a Windows shop, running a mix of off the shelf & customised apps. Approximately half of their servers are in the cloud (all Azure), with the remaining half on prem. They run Terraform, HyperV, use Azure DevOps and also run some storage systems.You'd be one of two senior cloud & infrastructure engineers, managing & supporting their environment, but also tackling some project work (such as decommissioning servers, an AD upgrade & an implementation of brainboard).The successful candidate will be experienced managing both Azure & on prem infrastructure (incl storage), managing a mix of BAU & project responsibilities, Knows Azure Devops, Iac (ideally Terraform, but BiCep is also good) & has solid scripting skills. It would also be handy if you knew Azure Blob, SQL and were very much current in your knowledge of the Azure landscape. Azure, Hashicorp & MS certs would be good.Equally important though is the fact you're a very good communicator, a real team player, are willing to take ownership & responsibility, and are someone who has a big picture understanding and can be pragmatic and look for cost saving rather than looking at things purely through a technical lens.What's in it for you
