High-impact leadership role alongside the Regional Manager
Diverse, international project portfolio across West Africa, Asia, South America, and Australia
Opportunity to guide a high-performing 20-person team, plus remote site engineers
Flexibility to focus on technical leadership, client strategy, and people management

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

Act as a key support to the Regional Manager; lead in their absence
Mentor and develop junior engineers
Oversee team resourcing, workload and project delivery
Provide guidance to remote construction teams
Technical Oversight

Lead or review design for tailings dams, heap leach pads, and geotechnical infrastructure
Oversee investigations, testing, design, and risk assessments
Contribute to construction and closure planning
Produce and review technical deliverables (reports, specifications, drawings, performance reports)
Attend inspections, review meetings, and workshops—locally and internationally
Client Engagement

Maintain and grow relationships with both local and international clients
Support proposal writing, bids, and technical presentations
Represent the company at client meetings and industry events

Requirements

Chartered Civil or Geotechnical Engineer (or eligible)
Significant experience in tailings, dams, or mine infrastructure
Strong technical grounding with leadership potential
Open to international candidates with relevant experience, who would be motivated to relocate to Australia, where the company will help with visa sponsorship
