HDR’s Architecture Business Group is seeking expressions of interest from collaborative and forward-thinking Graduates of Architecture with strong technical documentation and drawing skills to support our teams across our Melbourne and Sydney studios.We offer a supportive, team-oriented environment where emerging professionals work closely with experienced project leaders and technical experts. You will bring:
  • A Master’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of post-graduate experience
  • Proficiency in Revit; experience with Rhino and Grasshopper is highly regarded.
  • A desire to grow your capabilities and work towards independently producing high quality schematic, design development and construction documentation
  • Strong design communication skills and the ability to create compelling presentation graphics.
  • Passion for the sectors HDR Architecture is known for - Federal, Healthcare, Tech/Media/Telecom & Data, Education & Science is a plus!
  • Attention to detail and interest / knowledge of current design trends and philosophies, design research and innovation, resilient/sustainable design, data driven design and human centred design.
  • An openness to emerging technologies and associate future workflows.
  • A proactive, adaptable working style and willingness to contribute across different sectors and project types as required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
  • Must possess credentials to obtain future registration
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
  • Desire to pursue growth opportunities and eventually obtain registration
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process
  • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
