Safely delivering next-generation infrastructure that better connects people and transforms communities is at the heart of what we do.About the RoleCPB Contractors currently recruiting an Environment Advisor to join our team reporting to the Senior Environment Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of Brisbane's largest project.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day environmental aspects on - site including field testing, site inspections and monitoring requirements within their designated areas.
  • Manage the practical implementation of on-site environmental controls (e.g. erosion and sedimentation controls, incident response, including spills and waste/spoil tracking.
  • Supporting the establishment of project specific environmental management system, procedures, and tools to provide surety of successful project delivery and compliance with environmental plan.
  • Supporting project induction and environmental management systems/tools training.
Requirements for the Role:
  • Tertiary Qualification in a related field.
  • Proven experience (preferably minimum of 1-2 years) in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and deliver on deadlines.
  • Solid foundation in matters of environmental management such as environmental monitoring, inspections, data management and incident response.
  • Hold proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • Lateral thinker with the ability to critically interrogate information.
  • Focus and commitment to a zero-harm environment.
