
Gas Drainage Supervisor

- Monday to Friday Staff Roster
- Based at Camberwell in the Hunter Valley
- Gas drainage network design
- Planning, scheduling and securing operational approvals
- Effective management of contractors undertaking gas drainage tasks and ensure compliance with Ashton standards
- Day to day management of the underground gas drainage process
- Minimum 5 years' experience in underground mining (essential)
- Underground gas drainage and surface gas drainage plant experience (essential)
- High level knowledge of ventilation systems, plant & machinery and how to provide consistent maintenance, planning and servicing practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to influence & negotiate effectively
- Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- SAP experience (desirable)
- Ventilation Officer and Mining Supervisor qualifications (desirable)
- Unwavering commitment to safety with exceptional awareness & knowledge of relevant legislation
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
