
Senior Support Worker - Noraville, Central Coast

- Provide daily living support: personal care, manual handling, medication, PEG feeding, and mobility
- Manage high-risk clinical care needs: seizure management, bowel care, midazolam, hoisting, wound care
- Support participants using trauma-informed and positive behaviour practices
- Work closely with allied health, behaviour support practitioners, and families
- Lead by example and coach support workers on shift
- Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, care plans, and restrictive practice requirements
- Help onboard new team members and foster a strong team culture
- Keep accurate shift notes, incident reports, and clinical documentation
- Minimum Diploma in Disability, Community Services, or Mental Health (Nursing degree highly desirable)
- 3+ years’ experience in complex care, including high physical and clinical supports
- Confident managing hoists, bowel care, PEG feeding, and emergency response
- Experience working with people who have mental health conditions, trauma backgrounds, or justice involvement
- Calm, proactive, and able to make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and person-centred care
- Available for 24/7 rotating roster including overnights and weekends
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, and valid Driver Licence required
