This is an outstanding opportunity to join a wholly Australian owned services organization as the Group Financial Controller reporting to the CFO. Together, you will be driving strategic change throughout the business.As the Group FC, you will be fully responsible for all the financials as you build a high performing team of qualified and transactional staff and do so by reviewing practices for continuous process and system improvements.This role will be specifically responsible for;

Provide information, support and strategic recommendations to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
Lead a team of qualified and transactional staff.
Lead and manage all finance operations, statutory and tax lodgments, payroll, revenue cash collections, supplier management.
Actively work with Senior Leadership Team to identify business drivers and optimize costs.
Manage effective cash flow management and appropriate investment strategies.
Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
Preparation of AUS GAAP consolidation.
Work closely with FP&A team ensuring a smooth budgeting & forecasting process.
Provision of monthly and quarterly variance analysis.
Co-ordinate Corporate Tax and Treasury.
Work with key stakeholders on key business acquisitions.
Ensure continuous process and system improvements in all financial areas.

If you’re a passionate technically strong Accountant with a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a high performing Senior Leadership Team, then this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role within a medium to large corporate environment and ideally in a fast paced, dynamic organisation. You will be technically strong with a proven history of implementing continual improvements in previous roles.In addition to your accounting qualifications (CA or CPA), you will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive/flexible approach and strong attention to detail.
