The school has an ICSEA of 860 and is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment for its student clientele.Find out more about our school by visiting or .The RoleAs the successful applicant, you will ideally be a passionate educator who provides strategic leadership in student services to support whole-school improvement aligned with the school’s vision and strategic direction. In this role, you will collaborate with the principal and leadership team to implement whole-school approaches to wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and inclusion. You will also be required to maintain accurate student documentation and contribute to data analysis to inform school improvement planning. The successful applicant will continue to build the culture of improvement, empowerment and responsibility that continues to support the development of staff in supporting student wellbeing and engagement.The successful applicant will ideally:
Demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills to lead, coach and mentor staff, families and external agencies.
Oversee student attendance, working closely with the School Based Attendance Office to monitor student attendance, implement strategies and improve overall school attendance.
Support the school’s PBS framework, and social and emotional learning programs.
Work closely with the Learning Support Coordinator, providing guidance and leadership to ensure effective implementation of inclusive education practice throughout the school.
Support case management processes and coordinate support for Students At Educational Risk (SAER) students through internal and external services.
Build staff capacity to understand and apply trauma-informed and inclusive strategies tailored to the developmental and emotional needs of K–6 students.
Support staff in creating safe and regulated learning environments that respond to the diverse needs of students.
Support the daily organisation of the school and contribute to whole school events and initiatives as required.
