We share what we know and we challenge what’s possible.From manufacturing and engineering to cybersecurity and space, we’re driving progress in some of the world’s most important industries – and working together to build a future we can all trust.Based in Wooloomooloo's Garden Island, on Gadigal land your role purpose will be to partner with the business and lead the effective implementation and execution of HSE policy and strategy in an industrial setting.KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAs a HSE Business Partner, you are accountable for:Act as a trusted advisor and custodian of standards, leading the implementation and maintenance of HSE strategies and improvement plansSupport the rollout of Thales Australia HSE policies, ensuring compliance with all proceduresCoach and mentor leaders and teams from management level through to the shop floor to achieve HSE objectives, while collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address health, safety, and environmental risksLead reporting and investigations of hazards, incidents, and injuries/illnesses, and ensure follow-ups are completedMaintain compliance with relevant regulations and collaborate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, keeping accurate records of safety inspections, permits, and licensesDrive continuous improvement in HSE cultureKEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

Extensive experience in an HSE business partner or operational role, preferably in a complex, high-risk environment, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting
