Property Accountant

• Lead reporting for a major property portfolio on a 10-month contract.
• Property industry experience is essential!

• Manage financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly accruals
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, including NOI variance analysis and CAPEX forecasts
• Maintain and reconcile property balance sheets and fixed asset registers
• Business partnering - Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Support group reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Commercial Property experience is ESSENTIAL
• Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• CPA/CA qualified
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial or retail property accounting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities - ability to translate finance to non-finance stakeholders and vice versa
• Experience with property management systems
