Role - Full Stack Developer

Contract: 6 Months
Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid)
Hybrid working model (2-3 days per week in the office + WFH)
$1,000 - $1,500 per day

Full-Stack Development: Build scalable, high-performance applications from the ground up. You'll be involved in both frontend and backend development, ensuring a seamless, secure, and engaging user experience.

Infrastructure Management: Use AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, and others for cloud resource management, ensuring high availability and resilience.

Data Integration: Implement stream processing and vector embeddings for cloud resources to ensure a smooth data flow and processing pipeline.

Security: Implement secure, scalable solutions and ensure that the platform adheres to best security practices.

Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams. Translate product ideas into working software with minimal overhead and high autonomy.

Platform Optimisation: Proactively identify technical gaps or performance bottlenecks, and lead efforts to resolve them quickly and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Full-Stack Development:

Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js skills
Solid experience in backend development (Golang is a plus)
Building and maintaining a microservices architecture
Experience with API design using RESTful conventions (gRPC and Protobuf are a plus)
Experience with Relational databases (Postgres is a plus)
Experience with NoSQL databases (Graph and Vector databases are a plus)

Infrastructure Experience:

AWS expertise (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
Experience with Docker and container orchestration
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions is a plus)
Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in early-stage startups or greenfield builds
Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
Exposure to security engineering or data privacy tools at scale
Proficiency with Python for scripting tasks
