- Contributing to meeting the objectives of the Asset Plan and Business Plan whilst understanding the asset lifecycle.
- Building rapport with retailers, operators, contractors, Mirvac teams, key local community groups and authorities, customers, and guests, and attending meetings as required.
- Presenting the asset to the public in its optimal condition and maintain a presence out on the floor to attend any issues as they arise.
- Assisting with the management of plant and equipment in line with legislative requirements and to achieve optimal performance and maintaining the asset to the highest standard of repair, safety, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Proactively identifying maintenance and repair requirements and coordinating their completion with the necessary supplier/contractor, ensuring all work on site is performed in a timely manner and to an acceptable standard and in accordance with
- “Hands on” work as required in accordance with SWMS. E.g. painting, cleaning, light tube replacement etc.
- Assisting with the monitoring of building services, including the vertical transport and HVAC systems, to ensure efficient operations and reliable performance.
- Responding to any hazards reported on the Contractor Management System or through other means.
- Working with the Tenancy Coordination team to ensure all tenancy fit-outs, alterations and works cause minimal inconvenience to retailers and the public
- Purchasing supplies and raising work and purchase orders, where required.
- Assist with providing advice and recommendations on forecasting operational and capital expenditure.
- Working collaboratively with national teams to deliver divisional initiatives and contributing to the implementation of the strategy.
- Acting Duty Manager on evening/weekends/public holidays as required.
- Assisting with any projects or undertaking additional duties as reasonable required.
- Completing all people and leadership directives within allocated timeframes.
- Working collaboratively within Retail teams and across Mirvac divisions, and sharing learnings with employees and leveraging their experience.
- Ability to be on call 24/7, work on weekends and attend to after-hour calls.
- Mechanical/electrical trade qualifications or tertiary qualifications is desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume role with conflicting priorities
- Demonstrated experience in managing contracts and contractors
- Good IT proficiency e.g. Microsoft Office Package
- Familiarity with local suppliers
- Some practical experience with minor repairs (a big plus!)
