About This RoleAs a Project Owner (PO) at CAE, you will play a pivotal role in managing the engineering backlog for one or more projects within the International Defence and Security Portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including System and Software Architects, Project Specialists, Engineers, Military Training Experts and Product Owners – to ensure that the technical solutions align with training requirements, budget constraints and customer expectations.This role will require a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, technical acumen, and ability to lead and influence across departments.The role we are offering you

Define the project scope with System Architects and Technical Leads
Own and manage a unified project backlog in JIRA
Maintain alignment between technical solutions and project scope
Develop and manage cross-departmental release plans and roadmaps

Our ideal candidate has:

Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, hardware engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or similar degrees.
Proficiency in JIRA and Agile Methodologies
Proven experience as an Agile Product Owner or System Software Developer.
Risk identification and mitigation expertise
