The Team Leader – Housekeeping plays a critical leadership role within the Housekeeping Department, supporting the Housekeeping Manager in the day-to-day operations across both Falls Mountain Retreat and Hotel Mountain Heritage. This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service are consistently delivered while providing support, guidance, and motivation to the housekeeping team. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipLead and support daily housekeeping operations across both propertiesAllocate daily tasks, manage workflow, and monitor productivity of the housekeeping teamConduct room checks and public area inspections to ensure brand standards are metEnsure timely turnover of rooms in line with guest check-in/out timesPeople Support & DevelopmentAct as a key support for the Housekeeping Manager, stepping up during absencesTrain, coach and mentor new and existing team members in cleaning procedures, safety protocols and guest etiquetteFoster a positive, respectful and inclusive team cultureCustomer ExperienceRespond quickly and professionally to guest feedback or room-related issuesMaintain close communication with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experienceRole model excellence in personal presentation and service deliveryCompliance & SafetyUphold WHS standards by promoting a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environmentEnsure proper handling and storage of chemicals and equipmentReport maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly and accurately Skills and ExperienceEssential
  • Available to work full-time 38 hour week across Saturday-Wednesday (Thurs & Fri rostered days off)
