We don’t stand still – there are always opportunities to do more and do better.What’s on Offer?Fulton Hogan is pleased to hold the Sydney Airport Grounds Maintenance Contract and we are looking for a new member to join our team to perform the following works including landscaping, vegetation management, horticultural and arborist works, litter collection, cleaning. From time to time assist with; pavement repairs, street sweeping, line marking, civil works on both airside and landside locations at Sydney Airport.With the recent awarding of this contract, we are currently seeking a Trainee Landscape Labourer to work across the day to manage the airport grounds. The hours are from 06.30am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.You will be responsible for tasks including, however, not limited to;
  • Grounds maintenance; mowing, brushcutting, trimming, herbiside spraying, chainsaw, etc
  • Disposal of site rubbish
  • Airport handyman tasks as required
  • Landscaping of airport and surrounds
  • General labouring and maintenance duties as required
To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience;
  • Previous landscape/ground maintenance experience on commercial site (desired)
  • Quality in workmanship with a strong safety focus
  • Productivity with a hands-on approach
  • Dependability to work on adhering to scheduled maintenance tasks
