In this role, you will help maintain the hotel's facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and our team members.What will you be doing (but not limited to)?
- Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, painting, HVAC, and general upkeep of hotel facilities.
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and service areas are in excellent working order.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel equipment, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials, and requests replacements as necessary.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for special events or room configurations.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff to address urgent maintenance concerns.
- Previous experience working in hotels is preferred.
- Self-motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable.
- Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
