The RoleReporting to the Group Finance Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for delivering key accounting services to the corporate business and related group of companies. This is a key role in the existing structure that will be responsible for financial reports, preparing financial statements, cash management, managing invoices and operations.Duties will include;Month end accounting and reporting - reconciliations, analysis, and commentaryProcessing intercompany billings and transactionsFinancial Reporting - P&L and Balance sheet reporting and analysisLiaise with the ATO and prepare monthly ICA statements.Provide high quality financial analysis and reporting on weekly basis.Prepare GL accounts and reconciliations.Manage relationship with senior internal/external stakeholders.Support Group Finance Manager with key projects and process improvement initiatives. Your ProfileAs an experienced CA/CPA qualified accountant, you will be a strong communicator and detail orientated professional with the ability to deal with competing deadlines and priorities. Experience in the Property/Construction/Engineering sectors is desirable but not essential.By showing the willingness to learn and offer an alternative viewpoint, you will enable the finance team and broader business to improve its effectiveness.This role could provide the opportunity to take your accounting skills to the next level.
