The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a Client Services Administrator to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to build upon your professional career.Reporting to the Directors, your duties will involve providing client services support, administration and reporting to support the Financial Planners and Paraplanners in all areas of financial planning including clerical, administrative, and compliance responsibilities.Responsibilities include:
  • First point of contact for incoming correspondence from clients
  • Provide administrative support to Advisers and Paraplanners
  • Liaise with stakeholders and compile information
  • Assisting with the establishment of SMSFs, preparation of SMSF contribution and pension payment reports and preparation of SMSF minutes & ongoing compliance documents
  • Complete and process applications, investment transactions and other ad-hoc administrative paperwork
  • Respond and action client requests
  • Updating / maintaining databases
  • Other ad-hoc duties
Skills and Experience
  • 2+ years financial planning experience gained in a similar role
  • Hold a Diploma of Financial Planning (or be in the process of completing it)
  • Organised, with an attention to detail and a friendly phone manner
  • Basic knowledge of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Experience using Xplan and/or exposure to fund management platforms (BT Panorama, Asgard, IOOF, MLC etc)
