The area is well-known for its excellent schools, vibrant café scene, and easy access to the freeway, city, and public transport.Job SpecificationThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Compounding Pharmacist to join a modern, high-tech laboratory specialising in custom medications. As an experienced and motivated Compounding Pharmacist, you will lead their compounding services, mentor staff, and collaborate with prescribers to expand and optimise their compounding services.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing custom-made medications for both human and veterinary use.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including doctors, dentists, and vets, to provide tailored treatment solutions.
  • Assisting in weight-loss consultations and offering personalised healthcare advice.
  • Leading and supporting the dispensary team in a modern, technology-driven workspace.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of product formulations.
Skills Required
  • General registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist
  • Training or certification in sterile compounding.
  • At least 2 years experience in a compounding pharmacy in Australia.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical compounding (non-sterile and/or sterile).
  • Strong knowledge of Z Dispense software and experience with Compound Direct highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
