Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.About the initiativeSchool Readiness Funding is an innovative initiative providing kindergartens with access to quality programs and support systems that will help children get the most out of their early learning. The School Readiness Program provides funding to Kindergartens within Barwon region- with access to allied health being one of a number of supports. Under the terms of the funding, Kindergartens with large numbers of educationally disadvantaged children enrolled will receive more allied health support.About the roleBarwon Health is looking to recruit Psychologists to be part of a multidisciplinary team that deliver capacity building school readiness sessions at kindergartens across the Barwon Region.You will be working with kindergarten educators and families in the community to build their capacity to support young children's learning in the key areas of communication (language development) wellbeing (social and emotional) and access, inclusion and participation.
