Work on the iconic Sydney Harbour!Captain Cook Cruises, The Jackson and the Starship Group is looking for bright and energetic individuals with strong work ethics and an enthusiastic attitude to join our team!About the rolesThese roles will undertake work practices to allow for maximum learning under the guidance of the Head Chef. They will be responsible for the cleaning and basic food preparation duties within the kitchen or food preparation areas and maintain strict hygiene and safety procedures. Successful candidates will be thoroughly familiar with all safety equipment and how to deal with an emergency.About youTo be successful you must:

Be able to work within a small team without supervision
Be available to work on a flexible roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
Have excellent communication skills
Be a team player
Proven strong guest/ customer service skills
Take pride in your work
Be committed to ensuring a clean hygienic kitchen and utensils
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform autonomously
Flexibility and reliability
Proven ability to handle difficult situations
Interpersonal and relationship building
Attention to detail in preparation & food presentation

These key requirements will be appreciated with experience and skills in the following areas:

Food Safety Handling Certificate - Essential
Certificate Qualification in Hospitality – Desirable
Experience in food provision services – Desirable
