About the roleOur client is seeking a creative and skilled Landscape Architect to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land planning, design principles, and sustainable development practices. As a Residential Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for designing outdoor spaces such as gardens and recreational areas that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally responsible.About YOUAs a Residential Landscape Architect, you will be highly creative and be focused on designing outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. You will poses a strong ability to envision and plan spaces that harmonise with the environment. A solid understanding of land use, environment design, plant biology, soil science and construction techniques.Tasks & Responsibilities

Design Development: Create conceptual and detailed Residential landscape designs that meet the needs of clients while adhering to environmental sustainability and aesthetic standards

Client Communication: Present design proposals to clients, explaining the rationale behind design choices, and adjust the design based on feedback

Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed plans, drawing, and specifications for contractors and clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to incorporate innovative and cutting edge solutions into projects

Skills & experience

Min 2yrs + Residential Landscape Architect experience (with a strong portfolio of completed jobs)

Degree in Landscape Architect

Proficiency in landscape design software (AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite)

Experience with green infrastructure, storm water mgmt. and low impact development

Current Drivers License
