Iron Bridge project is located 145km south of Port Hedland. The role of the Mining Engineer is to provide the project with accurate and timely medium and short term mine planning systems and processes, to enable the business to meet its contractual production targets in a cost effective manner and seek opportunities to improve overall project performance.About you:

Tertiary qualifications in Mining engineering
3+ years in a technical discipline at an open pit mining environment
Sound understanding of mine operation, drill & blast, planning and scheduling
Thorough understanding of open cut mining methods
Strong mining software experience (Vulcan, Alastri, Spry, etc) as well as the Microsoft office suite.
Able to demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed HSE goals in support of the department, site and company standards
Well-developed analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and shifting priorities
