Access theYour new role:As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will play a vital role in supporting high-quality, person-centred care across our medical and surgical wards, working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. You will:
  • Provide safe and compassionate care under the supervision of a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Assist with the delivery of direct and indirect patient care, including daily living activities, observations, and delegated clinical tasks.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive ward environment, including equipment checks, restocking, and clerical duties.
  • Work flexibly across AM, PM, and night duty shifts as part of the Workforce Support (Relief Pool).
About you:You are a caring and adaptable team player who is committed to delivering safe, respectful, and high-quality care to patients and their families. You will:
  • Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III in a relevant field, with a Certificate IV in Dementia Care highly regarded.
  • Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a commitment to person-centred care.
  • Thrive in a team environment, showing flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Understand the importance of following protocols, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to a safe workplace for patients and staff.
