This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail oriented Assistant Account Executive to join a high-performing broking team based in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of insurance industry experience who is looking to progress their career in a client focused fast-paced environment.
You’ll work closely with senior brokers to support the day-to-day management of a diverse commercial portfolio, assisting with renewals, policy administration, insurer negotiations, and client service.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Account Executives in managing a portfolio of SME and mid-market clients
- Prepare renewal documents, quotes, schedules, and certificates of currency
- Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and obtain policy documentation
- Maintain accurate and recent client records in the CRM
- Respond to client enquiries and deliver high-quality customer service
- Assist in the claims process and follow up with insurers and clients as required
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations
- 1–2 years of experience in insurance broking or underwriting
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 in Insurance Broking (or working towards)
- Strong communication and client service skills
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
