THE OPPORTUNITYHands-on and dynamic, this role is critical in championing the receipt of all goods delivered to the Hospitality, Events and Operations Department in an efficient and safe manner at our Rosehill Gardens venue.Key focus areas of the role are:
  • Manage the receipt of all goods purchased by the Hospitality Events and Operations department and ensure that all goods are received in a safe manner.
  • To ensure that all goods received are matched with the relevant purchase order/requisition and immediately action any discrepancies and report possible shortages or goods that are unable to be supplied to all relevant department heads.
  • To assist each month to ensure an accurate stock count for food and beverage stock is completed for financial month end reporting.
  • Control & report the correct distribution of all food stock from stock sheets to the correct areas and ensure all items issued are correctly entered in event analysis.
  • Maintaining the good working condition and cleanliness of the loading dock, dock storage facilities, cool rooms, storerooms and office areas as per the HACCP food safety programs and WHS/OH&S.
  • Funning food to relative outlets according to the volume and request.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
THE RIGHT FITTo be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Store person’s role;
  • Previous experience in a Food and beverage environment essential;
  • Ability to implement and record all relevant information on documented paperwork for food safety & HACCP program records;
  • Current forklift license;
  • Current Australian driver’s license;
  • Must hold relevant Food safety supervisor certificate;
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety guidelines.
