What success looks like in this role:Responsible for supporting the functionality and efficiency of one or more operating systems.Deliver first/second level remote hardware and software/OS support services to clients to resolve product use and multi-product/platform problems.Responsible for user administration, monitoring of servers, and monitoring antivirus updates.Perform daily checks on servers, analyze logs.Conduct incident investigation. Conduct advanced troubleshooting of incidents and provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.Resolve well defined incidents using documented procedures.Documented BAU Practices Incident management (BAU Incidents Break/Fix), Change management (BAU Changes – Patching/Firmware changes).Quarterly Patching activities and half yearly firmware upgrades.Execute complex changes, prepare and execute changes per implementation plans.Relay alerts and situation status information to both client and Unisys management.May prepare technical documentation and ensure that technical and customer documentation is clear, accurate and complete.May develop and conduct user training, technical training and orientation.#LI-KC1You will be successful in this role if you have:Should have 2 to 5 years of relevant systems administration domain experience ideally preferred within a corporate or enterprise environment, including relevant technical expertise.We are also open for applicants who are new to the workforce with 1-2 years of relevant experience in windows server management.Strong understanding of a large Windows server environment is a strong must have for this role.Applicants need to be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents due to the nature of the client and the project/ work stream and should be based in Melbourne/Victoria. We would also be open to Sydney based applicants as well with the right experience and who fit the requirement.This role will not be a fit for anyone with only help desk experience.Needs to have a good personality.
