- Engineering support for our HVAC Project Teams throughout construction phase
- Engineering design for new projects, both D&C and fully documented
- Heat / cooling loads and static calculations
- Writing engineering reports, operating instructions and “Safety in Design” documentation
- Reviewing mechanical drawings
- Communicating with clients to understand design requirements
- Site visits and attending meetings
- Mentoring and coaching Junior Project Engineers
- Minimum 7 years' experience in the HVAC Industry
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Broad knowledge of HVAC systems and applicable Australian Standards and Building Codes
- Experience in CAD / REVIT would be beneficial
- Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trusting and respectful relationships at all levels
- Experience in providing direction, feedback and coaching to a team
- A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
- Be able to communicate effectively on design issues at all levels
- Experience in handling competing priorities utilising outstanding organisational and planning ability
