This role provides a great opportunity to take on a diverse role in a highly successful team working towards our team mission of “Preserving the environment, protecting the community and providing for a healthy tomorrow.”You will support the Health Services team by:

What can you bring to the team?

A passion for public and environmental health and a desire to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our community.
Tertiary qualifications equivalent to, or significant progress toward completion in either Food Safety, Public Health, Health Science, Environmental Science.
Knowledge of scientific principles particularly regarding sample collection, analysis techniques and interpretation of data.
Knowledge of compliance inspection, education and enforcement processes (desirable)
Exceptional customer service skills and an ability to negotiate positive outcomes that benefit our community.
An ability to work effectively and add value to the team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The finer detailsThis fulltime Level 4 (depending on skills and experience) position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $75,419 – $81,093 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
