Job Category: OperationsJob Description:Position Overview:Health and Wellness Coordinator - DIDO, Bowen BasinCiveo is a workforce accommodation specialist dedicated to helping people maintain healthy, productive and connective lives while living and working away from home. This key role with one of the world's largest integrated providers of workforce accommodation is to support the development, promotion and delivery of a full range of health and wellbeing services to village residents of all ages and ability levels, utilising onsite gymnasiums, and multi-sport areas, sporting ovals and other facilities.Drive in, Drive out to our Villages throughout the Bowen Basin.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the implementation of exercise, fitness, sporting and recreational events and activities.
  • Conduct pre-exercise screening and assessment procedure in line with company procedures.
  • Manage bookings via approve method to coordinate use of facilities.
  • Provide residents with a varied sport and recreation program.
  • Organise social events that cater for all residents on site and encourage outside tavern engagement (e.g., non-sport related events, bands, quiz nights) in line with health promotions and events.
  • Maintain an asset register of decorations, equipment and other material, as needed to facilitate events.
Qualifications:
  • Cert III and IV in Fitness.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Compliance in completion of a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol.
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience working in a site-based environment in a similar role.
Skills:
  • A focus on customer service, engagement, and willingness to put yourself out there.
  • High level of written skill, including report writing.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • The ability to manage your own workloads.
  • Great computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • High level of general physical fitness and strength to support the demands of the role.
