- Subject matter expertise, advice and guidance in RAM as an integral part of the John Holland engineering offering across all areas of the organisation
- Ensure effective application of RAM principles that meet client requirements, John Holland corporate management system requirements, regulatory needs and is aligned with EN50126
- Ensure appropriate planning is undertaken that aligns RAM activities and outputs with the key milestones and submissions of tenders and projects, including the development and / or review of the RAM Plan
- Be able to conduct and facilitate all RAM related-activities under the RAM Plan, including Event Tree Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams, Lifecycle Cost Analysis techniques, driving maintainability in design, and the development of RAM and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Reports.
- Provide subject matter expertise support to system safety engineering and assurance activities where required, including support to risk assessment workshops and assistance in the development of SFAIRP arguments
- Work with designers on tenders and projects to provide input into the design solutions and support with the delivery of design packages with input into the RAM aspects of the design
- Input into RAM aspects of new maintenance and operational procedures and plans, including maintenance requirements analysis techniques such as Reliability Centred Maintenance
- Lead maintenance review and analysis of operational and maintenance data for continuous improvement for John Holland's Operations & Maintenance activities
- Participation in training needs analysis, user acceptance testing, RAM support during commissioning, requirements verification and validation, post-implementation review and identification of RAM lessons learned.
- Tertiary qualification in an engineering-related discipline
- Minimum 4 years' relevant experience and proven track record in the application of RAM engineering with at least 1 years in the rail sector
- Working knowledge of RAM-related standards including EN50126.
- Experience working with RAM tools such as Reliability Workbench, Availability Workbench or similar
