Flourish Australia are expanding and starting up new employment services with the Inclusive Employment Australia program and we are seeking a Manager, Employment to oversee these new services!About the position:
  • Ongoing full-time (76 hours/fortnight)
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Based on-site within any of our ESAs**, with travel required
  • Level 6 on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018)
About the RoleThe Manager, Employment manages the provision of effective and professional employment services to ensure a high standard of service delivery to jobseekers experiencing mental health issues under the DSS contractual requirements. They provide program and practice leadership to ensure the organisation delivers high-quality, person-led recovery-oriented employment services that comply with policy, contractual, and legislative obligations.Working closely with the Regional Manager, Employment Services, the Manager, Employment will oversee aspects of Flourish Australia’s IEA contract within their delegated area. Specifically, the Manager Employment is responsible for:
  • Ensuring Flourish Australia’s Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program complies with contractual obligations and maintains high professional standards and high performance against the IEA quality framework and benchmarking
  • Ensuring all IEA programs and services meet the minimum expectations of performance and compliance under the IEA quality assurance certification
  • Ensuring that IEA programs are delivered within the principles of the Recovery Action Framework and Practice Framework, and that jobseekers are treated with dignity and respect at all times
  • Work collaboratively with other managers across the IEA program to ensure consistent delivery of service

  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar position
  • Extensive experience in the employment sector, including in DSS funded employment services
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience working within contractual guidelines
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of severe and persistent mental health issues in obtaining and maintaining open employment
  • Advanced understanding and demonstrated application of recovery-oriented services
  • Maintain a current Australian Driver’s Licence
