Grow with us, H2O+U.Our Water Division is experiencing significant growth, presenting the opportunity for a Principal Design Manager based in our Brisbane office. This position is crucial for providing technical expertise and to lead technical teams to develop and deliver the most appropriate technical solution for key water and wastewater projects in Queensland.About the role:You will plan, program and coordinate studies, investigation, design and construction management projects, as Design Manager or Project Technical Lead, to deliver the agreed outputs on budget, on time and to high quality standards. You will bring technical acumen to the development of solutions that meet our clients needs, driving value into our solutions.You will also develop strong working relationships with clients by delivering valuable business solutions and understanding the client’s business.A day in the life of a Principal Design Manager looks like:Coordinate all multi‐disciplinary activities and inputs by the technical team, including specialist inputs, to ensure an integrated technical solution.Deliver outputs on time and to an appropriate qualityBring a can-do solution-focussed attitude to our projectsLeading engineering projects and managing internal engineering disciplines as well as subcontractors.Support our delivery teams during design and construction, acting in a senior leadership and management role on projects.
